Tdh, is committed to promoting a restorative and gender responsive approach based on child-friendly justice, encouraging non-custodial measures for children in conflict with the law, improving non-violent conflict resolution mechanisms and integration of children into communities. Tdh also supports systems strengthening of institutional practices and capacity building of all stakeholders across government officials, front line workers, CSOs, community members, children, and youth for effective service delivery.
Our A2J programme takes a multi-sectoral approach. Maternal and child health, WASH, migration and tackling child labour components and mitigating impact of climate change are integrated into a comprehensive response to improve access to justice for children and youth, and work with their communities.
Our Access to Justice programmes has been operational in West Bengal and Jharkhand.
